It’s Your Plan — You Have a Right to Speak Up

Just because someone’s a “provider” doesn’t mean they’re always doing the right thing. Maybe they’re late. Maybe they ignore your choices. Maybe something just doesn’t feel right.

You don’t have to stay quiet.

Start by writing down what’s happened. Dates. Details. How it made you feel. If you feel safe, talk to the provider directly. Sometimes that’s enough. But if it isn’t — or if you don’t feel comfortable — you can go straight to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. They exist to protect you.

Here’s the truth: speaking up doesn’t make you a problem. It makes you powerful.

And you don’t have to do it alone.
